Presently, I am reinventing my company, Innovative Dynamics, Inc. into a publishing company.

As Managing Director of Sanctuary Friends Foundation of the Florida Keys from Dec. 2006 to Dec. 2008, I created the first comprehensive Sanctuary Friends Foundation Business Plan and Budget for FY-2007.  I implemented and managed numerous new and innovative improvements in business practices.  Established and provided frequent “Activity Reports” to the Board Members.  Completely managed and implemented the redesign the website www.SanctuaryFriends.org including backoffice functions to manage membership, easily post upcoming events, news articles, PDFs, videos, photos and other important public relation information. I designed SFFFK’s logo and brochure. I managed the entire Budget which is approximately $325,000, of which $180,000 is grant revenue and 3 employees.

On May 18, 2006, I was appointed by Governor Jeb Bush to the Monroe County Commission. During my appointment as Monroe County Commissioner, I worked to implement local policies, resolutions, various ordinance to protect the environment of the Florida Keys.  I introduced a Monroe County Commission agenda item to discuss the banning of the sale of dead coral in the Florida Keys. I ran for election on a platform to protect and preserve the Florida Keys, especially our Marine Environment by implementing wastewater improvements, while maintaining a healthy economy through Eco-Tourism. In addition, I explored innovative ways to redevelop the Keys’ deteriorating infrastructure and provide “Affordable Workforce Housing”.

Glenn was elected to the Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District (KLWTD) as a Commissioner in November 2004.  He was voted to the chairman's position by his fellow board members in Nov 2005.  The District is charged with the responsibility of implementing wastewater improvements on the Island of Key Largo and managing a working utility treating wastewater.   In April, 2006, the KLWTD put in service a 186,000 gallon per day SBR wastewater plant and finished a couple of vacuum collection systems for approximately 650 homes.

The KLWTD is in the engineer phase for a $35,000,000 project which includes the expansion of the interim wastewater plant to 2,250,000 gallon per day SBR wastewater plant, a 7 mile long force main and several neighborhood vacuum collection systems.

Glenn vigorously supported the completion of KLWTD Master Plan (Facilities Plan) for the remainder of the Island, which will be finished by May, 2006.  It is estimated that construction of the remainder of the KLWTD system will cost $90,000,000 of which the residents of Key Largo will pay approximately $50,000,000 - the remaining $40,000,000 will hopefully come for Federal, State and County Tax funds.

Glenn started working for the Miami-Dade Co Planning Dept. in 1963 as a Technical Illustrator and Photographer.  He transferred to the Miami-Dade Fire Dept in 1969 and worked though the ranks to Chief Fire Officer and functioned as a Battalion Chief.  He also worked in the Logistics Division as the General Service Bureau OIC.  As the Bureau OIC, Glenn's functional duties included managing the department's Mobile Equipment, Building Maintenance, Building Construction and various other supportive services. When Hurricane Andrew hit South Miami-Dade County, Glenn was one of the lead Battalion Fire Chiefs from Cutler Ridge to the Monroe County line.  Glenn's Hurricane Andrew experience taught him a tremendous amount about the power of a hurricane and how to deal with the aftermath of a large scale disaster.  He retired from the Fire Service in 1996.  Also, He has worked with several water conservation – submetering companies which have given him insight into the cost of water and sewer systems and the importance of conservation.

Glenn has been president of the Port Largo Residential Property Owners Association since 2002 and a board member since 2001.  Glenn served as President of the Island of Key Largo Federation of Homeowner Associations from Feb 2004 to June 2005.

Glenn was also the "Safety Officer" during the sinking operation of the Spiegel Grove and is an avid scuba diver.
